The RESET Learn-To-Read Program builds reading skills and creates love for reading.
At RESET, we believe every child has the potential and curiosity to create and read their own stories.
That’s why we developed our Early Reading Program: to help children build the essential foundations they need to start their reading journey from the very beginning and become confident readers at a young age! Through our unique Batch Phonics Method, a step-by-step way to make reading simple, fun and engaging.
We start by teaching children small “batches” of letter sounds. Once they learn how to blend two and three letters together, they can start reading real words. Using these words, learner create their own "minibooks", helping them feel proud of their progress and excited to read more! As new letter sounds are introduced, children can read a growing number of words and stories, building both skill and confidence.
This approach helps children not only learn to read, but also enjoy reading — setting the foundation for lifelong learning.
The program is designed for children ages 3 and up who are just starting their reading journey.
We also offer reading support for elementary and high school students who want to improve their reading fluency, comprehension, or confidence.

The RESET Reading Program focuses on building early readers through our proprietary batch phonics program. The program ensures students learn the core fundamentals of reading and are engaged in reading early in the learning process to ensure they feel success and confidence in their new found ability to read. To meet the core purpose of the program which is to build strong reading skills and a deep love of reading.

We offer a paced and measured approach to teaching children how to read. We utilize phonics, sound and word building as well as imaginative play and creative storytelling to make reading fun and exciting. This is to ensure that there are no gaps in foundational reading skills and to keep students engaged. Students are given the opportunity to read early in the program and on the learning journey to encourage them and make them want to read more!

Our program focuses on building early readers through the introduction of batches of specific phonics sounds. As they learn these sounds, to blend 2 letter sounds, then three letter sounds, this culminates in a selection of words that are used to create "minibooks". These consist of words created by the batch of letters introduced. The next batch of letters are then introduced and added to the previous batch. As new batches of letter sounds are added students are able to read a large volume of 2 and 3 letter words and a collection of minibooks. This method ensures deep learning and reading success.

We also offer reading support for elementary school and high-school students.
Every child meets learning milestones at their own pace. Reading is an important part of everyones educational journey and some children are keen to read and may be reading at a foundational level by age 3, while others may gain confidence and find their reading stride at age 6 or later. At RESET our early literacy program supports students to build basic reading skills so they can find success and confidence. The program is individualized and paced to offer every child success and encourages a love of reading.
This program is ideal for children as young as 3 who are potty trained as well as children in elementary school who avoid reading or find reading a struggle. We build basic reading skills in order to build a strong foundation and, for older students, to fill in any gaps in learning. Children in our program move towards reading in a relatively rapid and thoughtful pace to help them achieve confidence through success, to keep it fun and engaging, and to build lifelong reading skills.
