Katia Jitlina, Ph.D., Registered Psychologist

Dr. Katia Jitlina


Dr. Jitlina earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology at the University of British Columbia and completed her residency in Clinical Child Psychology at McMaster Children’s Hospital/Hamilton Health Sciences. She is especially interested in supporting the emotional development of neurodiverse children and youth – including children with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Giftedness and Intellectual Disabilities. She has previously worked as a Psychologist with Child and Youth Mental Health, and as part of multi-disciplinary assessment teams for Sunnyhill Health Centre for Children. She currently works as a Psychologist in private practice and is a Clinical Instructor with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia.

RESET STEAM Camp offers a thrilling week of innovation and creativity. Designed for age groups 7-9 and 10-12, this immersive experience seamlessly blends STEM activities in the morning, covering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, with vibrant art sessions in the afternoon and each day offers a unique focus. Participants explore the interconnected worlds of STEM and art, fostering collaboration and creativity. By week's end, campers not only deepen their understanding of STEM but also unleash their artistic potential. RESET STEAM Camp promises an inspiring journey, igniting a lifelong passion for innovation and creativity.

RESET Academic Revival Camp offers a productive week of academic skill development and activities to prepare learners for their return to the classroom following a restful summer break. Designed for age groups 7-9 and 10-12, this unique program is designed to prepare students for the upcoming academic year by rekindling their passion for learning and equipping them with essential skills and knowledge. Each day of this camp focuses on a different school subject, and is structured to provide a balance between academic rigor and recreational activities to ensure that students remain engaged and motivated throughout their experience. Mornings are dedicated to academic activities, where facilitators cover key subjects such as mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies. These activities are interactive and hands-on, allowing students to delve deep into concepts and develop critical thinking skills. Afternoons are reserved for collaborative games and extracurricular activities. These activities not only provide a break from academics but also foster creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.
