To meet the needs associated with our growth, we are seeking Academic Tutors to train students from Grade 1 – 12 in Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
To meet the needs associated with our growth, we are seeking part-time Academic Tutors to guide learners and deliver the school subject tutoring at our West Broadway location: 2509 West Broadway, Vancouver.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for delivering tutoring for students of different grades
- Provide timely guidance and support to Learners; encourage and guide Learners to achieve their academic goals
- Responsible for preparing Learner Progress Reports and updates
- Build relationships and trust with the local community and provide timely feedback to parents to engage all stakeholders in supporting learners to build a life-long habit of learning
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Successful applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science
- Life-Long Learner Curious, Compassionate, Observant, Open-Minded, and Accountable
- Strong oral and written communication Professional demeanor and presentation
- Experience in teaching/education is an asset Presentation/public speaking skills
- Knowledge working with learners from Grade 1 – 12
